  • Age: Pleistocene
  • Location: Colonia, Uruguay
  • This is a Mammal, not a dinosaur or a reptile, but because of it's very large size and dinosaurian appearance it could easily be mistaken for one. These animals could reach sizes of approximately 10 feet long and 4-5 feet high. They closely resembled present day Armadillos. There were several different variations of this animal alive and in this area at this same time.
