- This specimen has been been reconstructed from egg fragments that were all that remained of the hatched eggs from a nesting site.
- When the fossil nesting sites were found, in many cases there were no intact whole eggs there, only hundreds of eggshell pieces.
- *All fragments are 100% authentic and were recently acquired from a 30 year old collection in the USA
- Argentina banned the export of all fossils in 2003 – Thus making the acquisition of these eggs or eggshell extremely difficult as they must come from a US collection that was established prior to 2003
