Description
Coelodonta Rhino Tooth (251118e)
- Name: Coelodonta
- Age: Late Pleistocene – 20,000 years old
- Location: Siberia, Russia
Coelodonta is a species of extinct woolly rhino that once shared the Siberian plains with Mammoths and other famous Ice Age Mammals. This specimen is in Perfect Condition with a complete root and cap; you can also spot a section of original jawbone between the two roots.
Beautiful display piece, comes mounted on a custom stand, but is removable if you wish. A small hole has been drilled into the tooth to allow it to sit on the stand, but this can only be seen while unmounted, and even then, it’s hardly noticeable and could be plugged if you wish without much trouble. The piece has been sealed to prevent damage.
- Great display specimen, comes with a stand, and a card depicting the tooth’s location in the skull as seen in the gallery
