Description
Dromeosaurus Raptor Tooth
Species: Dromeosaur sp.
Age: Cretaceous, 82 -78 million years old
Location: Montana, USA
Formation: Two Medicine Formation
Dromeosaurus is perhaps one of the most well-known species of raptors aside from Velociraptor, even if people might not know why. In both the Jurassic Park movies and novels, much of the design for their “velociraptors” was based on Dromeosaurus, most notably the larger size, helping to create a more intimidating creature for the protagonists to survive.
This is a beautiful section from the very tip of the tooth. With a deep black coloration and excellent serration marks on both sides, this is a truly remarkable fossil, perfect for any collection.
Comes in a case as shown and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
