Fossilized Megalodon Shark (251202p)
- Name: Otodus megalodon
- Age: Miocene Epoch, 23 million years old
- Location: South Carolina, USA
This is a near-complete tooth, with very impressive serations and beautiful brown coloration. It’s a perfect example of a subadult megalodon. This item was found while diving in the Cooper River in South Carolina. This contributes to its pristine condition because it is only marginally damaged by wave and tidal action. Mineral oil has been used to bring out the natural colors of this fossil.
Comes with a flexi frame stand to keep the tooth safe and suspended for display.
